On June 1, 2000, I met my best friend. Her name was Katie and she was the most elegant and regal German Shepherd you could lay your eyes on. We were the best of friends and we practically spent every waking moment together. Ever since I could pick up objects, I had crayons in my hands. I was racking off forty to fifty drawings a day. Later in my early teens, I progressed from drawings and sketches to crafts and creations. Then, finally the perfect idea came to mind: Crafts4Canines! I combined my passion for crafting with my love for canines. At every possible craft fair, I sign up for a slot and sell my homemade greeting cards. Then, I donate all the proceeds to the Virginia German Shepherd Rescue. So far, with all my customers' help, I've donated over $1000 to the rescue.
Meet Caroline Miller! Hi! I created Crafts4Canines at age 14. Currently I am 18 years old and a senior at Broad Run High School. I play Varsity and club volleyball. I am a member of the National Honors Society, Key Club, Sigma Tau Sigma, National Latin Society, and DECA. I also take numerous AP and Honors classes while maintaining a high GPA. For college, I will be attending the University of Virginia to hopefully major in human biology with a business related minor!
